The Olde Farmhouse Market

Friday, June 29, 2012

Last week I had my first experience as a vendor at The Olde Farmhouse Market in Maple Ridge.  It was a FANTASTIC experience!  I had such a great day and the energy was so good!  Leah and Barb, the two lovely ladies who decided to organize this event did an outstanding job.  There was some amazing vendors, and lot's of very talented people.  I wish I had more time to go around and meet all the other vendors, but I was so busy that I didn't get a lot of time to do so.  But, for those that I did get to chat with, it was great meeting you!

Here are some pictures of my booth right before opening!

This pink rose glass was a hit!  I sold all of it, as well as the white old farmhouse side table.

This gorgeous blue wing back chair sold to a friend of mine!

I was honored to be beside two different groups of ladies that I admire for their work and for doing what they love as well:)  Elisa from, was my neighbor beside me and was very sweet and encouraging.  Across me was the lovely ladies Noreen and Roxanne from, whom I had just met a few weeks prior.  They have a cozy little corner in the Home hardware out in Maple Ridge where they sell paint and a variety of refinished pieces and home decor as well.

This was a first time for me, but it definitely won't be my last.  I'm so inspired to continue and create even more!  Thanks so much for everyone who came out to the market!

I sold a large amount of what I brought but still have some items available.  Please email me for more information:)

These last few pictures and including the first on my post were taken by my very talented friend Dina of  I can not take credit for these, as I have NO talent in taking pictures:)

Me posing awkwardly because I hate having my picture taken:)

Burlap table runners - I still have some of these remaining!

Me and my lovely assistant of the day, Kariann:)

I still have this solid wood desk for sale!

And this very cute single size headboard and footboard are still available.

  1. Such a beautiful booth! I was across from you and down a bit, with the archway entry :o)
Thanks for your visit to my blog and your lovely comments! Your burlap runners are just awesome! My friend really loved your red bed set... maybe one day your paths will cross again! Take care, Kimberly

  2. Hi Jen...
    Your booth was gorgeous!
One of my friends bought your sweet liitle boy jacket for her soon to arrive baby....if it's a girl I'll make a little fabric flower to embellish it with...and if it's a little boy he'll get a matching bowtie!

  3. Wow, thanks Janis. That's a HUGE compliment! :)
